For assignment 3 we had to create an interactive piece using the program p5.js. The project had to include a variety of colors, shapes, and images while also having multiple interactive features for the user. Using only the tools we learned in class over the past few weeks. For my piece I played with the idiom "apple of my eye".
Notes from Critique:
GET MORE WEIRD!!
Position the apple in front of the iris, rather than behind.
Crop eye just to the iris/ pupil.
Think about alternatives to make the piece more interesting.
Get rid of 'kanye' look
Think of these projects as they could be something like an interactive map or album cover
Have it so eye can 'close' which then turns it into a mouth that eats the apple
Play around with my language!
Eyeball snake eats the apple.
Have apples fall from the sky and fill the page.
